About the Persian Cultural Center
Established in 1989, the
Persian Cultural Center (PCC), better known to the community as
"Kanoon", is a 501(c)(3) non-profit national organization, with
no-political or religious affiliation. PCC is based in San Diego and was created to celebrate,
share and promote the very rich cultural abundance of its many ethnic
groups and their history.
The Persian Cultural
Center has the following entities:
Iranian School
of San Diego, Persian Cultural
Dance Academy
and the Iranian Foundation (charity work).
Persian Cultural
Center's Mission
The goal of this
center is to continue to offer presentations of non-biased, non-political
and non-religious events, resulting in a blend of harmonious experiences
for people of all ethnicities interested in the culture of Iran. For
the past seventeen years, PCC has continued to succeed with highly
acclaimed programs, thanks to the hundreds of volunteer hours and community
support.
