About the Persian Cultural Center
Established in
1989, the Persian Cultural Center (PCC), better known to the
community as "Kanoon", is a 501(c)(3) non-profit national
organization, with no-political or religious affiliation. PCC is
based in San Diego and was created to celebrate, share and promote
the very rich cultural abundance of its many ethnic groups and their
history.
The Persian Cultural Center has the following
entities: Iranian School of San Diego, Persian Cultural Dance
Academy and the Iranian Foundation (charity work).
Persian Cultural Center's Mission
The goal of this center
is to continue to offer presentations of non-biased, non-political
and non-religious events, resulting in a blend of harmonious
experiences for people of all ethnicities interested in the culture
of Iran. For the past seventeen years, PCC has continued to succeed
with highly acclaimed programs, thanks to the hundreds of volunteer
hours and community support.
With over 300 million
people celebrating Nowruz around the world, the United Nations
Calendar does not yet recognize it. Please sign this petition and
forward the link to all of your friends. Thank you.
